Half term is almost here and the theatre calendar is officially heating up. Whether you are planning a family day out, a culture fix, or something a little special, here are some brilliant productions and events landing across London and the UK this February.


Ballet Icons Gala

One of the most prestigious nights in the international dance calendar, Ballet Icons Gala brings together world class dancers and choreographic masterpieces on one stage. Accompanied by the English National Ballet Philharmonic Orchestra, this year also features the UK premiere of Asylum by award winning choreographer Antonia Franceschi, a powerful new work responding to the global environmental crisis.

With Bridgerton bringing extra sparkle to early 2026, Old Royal Naval College invites audiences behind the scenes with weekly Wigs, Weddings, Powder and Palaces film tours.This half term also includes family creative activities in the Painted Hall, a luxury Valentines fine dining experience celebrating three hundred years of Sir James Thornhill’s murals, and a Galentines mystery craft workshop with BYOB firmly encouraged.

Family friendly fun arrives with Tom Gates Epic Stage Show on 14 February, a colourful musical theatre adaptation of Liz Pichon’s much loved books.Comedy fans can also catch Early Doors Comedy Night on 18 February, 19 February and 12 March, with rising stars and familiar faces testing brand new material in a lively night of laughs.

Perfect for younger audiences, Fun For Little Ones on 19 February brings the joyful world of Ms Rachel to the stage in an interactive, high energy live tribute.Later in the week, The Ronnie Scott’s Story on 20 February combines live jazz, narration and rare archive footage in a celebration of one of the UK’s most iconic music venues.

JW3 continues its vibrant half term programme with Seder on 17 February, a rich blend of spoken word, dance, physical theatre and live music. Families can also enjoy Tai Chi and Chai Tea for grandparents and grandkids on 22 February, or mark a major cultural milestone with One Hundred Years of the London Jewish Male Choir, celebrating a century of choral history.
